Last Saturday February 13, 2016 at the UWI Sport and Physical Education Centre (SPEC) in St. Augustine, Republic Bank partnered with The University of the West Indies, to host its annual World of Work ( W.O.W) programme geared towards equipping final year UWI Students, with the necessary tools for succeeding in today’s work environment. RBL and The University of the West Indies has been collaborating for over 14 years to host this programme. WOW has grown into a programme consisting of several parts:-

Port-of-Spain, Trinidad: February 11, 2016 – Today, Republic Bank formally welcomed its new Managing Director and President of Republic Financial Holdings Limited (RFHL), Nigel M. Baptiste. Baptiste, who has been a part of the Republic Bank Group for over 24 years, took over from David Dulal-Whiteway who retired from the Bank on February 10.

Port of Spain, Trinidad: January 27, 2016: Republic Financial Holdings Limited (RFHL) has recorded a profit attributable to shareholders of $306.4 million, for the quarter ending December 31, 2015. This represents an increase of 3.1% over the corresponding period in 2014.

Port-of-Spain, Tobago, January 20, 2016: Republic Bank’s Tobago Corporate Customers were treated to a cocktail appreciation reception, as they witnessed the introduction of the new Area Manager, Republic Bank, at a ceremony hosted at the Magdalena Grand Beach and Golf Resort, Lowland, Tobago, over the weekend.

Port of Spain, Trinidad, Wednesday, December 16, 2015: Republic Bank is pleased to announce that the formation of its holding company, Republic Financial Holdings Limited (RFHL), was completed on December 16, 2015. The restructuring was effected by a vesting order under the Financial Institutions Act, Chap 79:09, in Trinidad and Tobago, and successfully brings the structure of the Republic Bank Group in line with international best practices to facilitate future growth.

Port-of-Spain, Trinidad: December 11, 2015: NALIS’ Amphitheatre, Abercromby Street, Port-of-Spain was abuzz with activity on November 20 as over 250 students participated in the annual Environmental Storyfest, in commemoration of Universal Children’s Day 2015. The children came from schools in the Port of Spain area and eagerly displayed their theatrical skills. Sponsored by Republic Bank Limited and supported by NALIS StoryFEST, the event was part of Project AWARE (A Wonderful and Rare Earth)
